Welcome
Welcome to my math blog. Weekly updates for homework and mathletes club will be completed. My belief is math is related to everything. If you have a scenario when you have used math in your everyday life post it.

Last night I went to Jewel to buy some bratwursts. (It's summer grill time!) I asked the butcher for six brats. When I got home I opened the package. There were five brats inside but he charged me for six. Not only was I mad but also was short of brats. My son needed to make another trip. When I went back to Jewel they refunded me the full amount. Now I wonder how much does it cost companies (and ultimately us as customers) for human error.

Here's a day in my math life!
ReplyDeleteOkay, my parents gave me a really bad cell phone text message plan. Each month, I can send up to 250 messages. To find out how many messages I can send per day, I used these formulas:
250 divided by 30= about 8 per day in a 30 day month
250 divided by 31= about 8 per day in a 31 day month
250 divided by 28= about 9 per day in February
250 divided by 29= 8 to 9 per day in February on leap year.
Well, I am hoping to get unlimited texting sometime soon. See you all at school!
SYDNEY!!!!!!!
Here's a little brain-buster for you:
ReplyDeleteA few weeks ago my mom and I went to Menards to buy something for my dad. We walked by the lighting section and I saw all the lights they had on display. There were a lot!
Now I wonder what the electrical bill is for Menards. The manager must have to pay a lot for the lighting display, on top of the rest of the lights in the store. Do you know about how much it costs?
Sydney, 6th grade advanced math.
Did you know that the average teen texts about 3,346 times per month. It might be a good idea to get unlimited!!!
ReplyDeleteI dont have any friends, so i dont text anyone!!!
